Feedback for a new LC-HRMS Instrument

Dear Users,

SAIF, IIT Madras is planning to procure a state-of-the-art LC-HRMS (Liquid Chromatography – High Resolution Mass Spectrometer) to cater to the needs of researchers from academia, R&D Establishments and industries across the country. The proposed instrument will have an Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) coupled with either a hybrid quadrupole time of flight (QTOF) mass spectrometer or an Orbitrap Fourier transform mass spectrometer (FTMS) configuration. This instrument can perform high resolution MS and MS/MS experiments for a wide range of applications including qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecules, synthetic organic compounds, compounds of forensic interest and characterization of large molecules such as proteins, peptides and nucleotides.

As a user of various facilities at SAIF, IITM, your response in this regard is highly appreciated. Kindly send us your valuable feedback in order to enable us to project your needs to the DST and get funding for a new LC-HRMS equipment.
