SAIF, IITM is planning to conduct a national workshop on “Theory and Applications of Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction”, during Nov 08-10, 2017.

The workshop is intended to develop the ability of the participants to analyse single crystal X-ray data. The workshop will include demonstration of instrumental techniques and training in structure solution (solving disordered and twinned structures, cif editing and checking etc.).

Fee structure:-
Participants from Academia (Research Scholar): Rs 3000/-

Participants from Academia (Faculty): Rs 5000/-
Participants from Industry: Rs 10,000/-.

The fee includes registration materials, lunch, tea/coffee and snacks. All participants are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.However, limited number of rooms may be available for outstation participants at the IIT M Guest House, upon prior request. The participant should bear the expenditure for the stay.

Procedure: Candidates should submit the offline application form,duly signed by the Research Supervisor or The Head of the Department/Institute, along with a Demand Draft in favour of“The Registrar, IIT Madras”, payable at Chennai.
