National Workshop
on
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy
 
Introduction:
 
A workshop on "Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy" is being organized at SAIF, IIT Madras during
25 - 27, Feb 2015. The program focuses on theory, instrumentation and applications of modern NMR spectroscopic techniques, starting from fundamentals to most advanced levels. Eminent speakers from IIT Madras and other National Institutions will deliver the lectures. Demonstration of the complete capabilities of Bruker 500 MHz NMR instrument will also be done.
 
Who will Benefit:
 
PhD scholars and R&D scientists from both academia and industry are encouraged to apply. Young faculty members of Colleges and University departments who are interested to use NMR in their research are also welcome. The maximum number of participants is restricted to 20.
 
Registration:
 
The fee for the workshop is .5,000 for students and research scholars (inclusive of course materials, lunch and refreshments), .10,000 for faculty members and scientist from academia and .15,000 for participants from industry. The fee must be paid in advance by demand draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, IIT Madras" and should be sent to The Head, SAIF, IIT MADRAS, Chennai-600036 on or before 13-02-2015. All participants are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
