Short-term Course on
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy

Introduction:

A short-term course on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy is being organized at SAIF, IIT Madras during 8-10, March 2012. This introductory course is intended to give participants an overview of modern high resolution NMR spectroscopy (both 1D & 2D). Demonstration of the complete capabilities of Bruker AV III 500 MHz NMR instrument including setting up of various experiments, processing and interpretation of the data will also be covered.

Who may Benefit:

PhD scholars and R&D scientists from both academia and industry are encouraged to apply. The maximum number of participants is restricted to 20.

Registration:

The fee for the workshop is 2000.00 for students and research scholars (inclusive of course materials, lunch and refreshments). For industrial participants, the fee will be  5000.00. The fee must be paid in advance by Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, IIT Madras" and should be sent to The Head, SAIF, IIT MADRAS, Chennai-600036 on or before 29-02-12. All participants are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
